Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Florida is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented entry-level litigation attorney to join its dynamic legal team. This is a fully remote position with an emphasis on managing business-related disputes for a diverse range of clients, including homeowners, contractors, small businesses, and consumers. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in legal research and writing, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.

Duties:

• Draft legal documents such as letters, memos, motions, pleadings, and orders.
• Assist senior attorneys in preparing for hearings and court proceedings.
• Maintain and manage case timelines and deadlines.
• Coordinate with paralegals and legal support staff to handle discovery tasks.
• Conduct legal research across various legal domains.
• Ensure meticulous time billing and meet deadlines consistently.

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of litigation experience.
• Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
• Capable of quickly adapting to new tasks and working in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with reliable internet access and a quiet workspace.
• A minimum of 155 on the LSAT.
• Strong performance in legal research and writing, with top marks in these areas.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Adobe.
• Experience with Clio software is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must have graduated with honors (Cum Laude or higher) and ranked in the top 25% of the class.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in Florida.
