She then commuted to Stillwater and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in General Business and minoring in Marketing.

Finally, in 2003, Tamera fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a lawyer. She graduated with honors from the University of Tulsa College of Law on the same day her daughter graduated from high school. During her time in law school, Tamera was a member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity and received four CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, showcasing her exceptional legal skills.
