What did you not like about this institution?
1.0Current Employee, less than 1 year“Perfect Plus” mission cant be achieved w/ poor management.Business Immigration Paralegal RecommendProsThe firm sends a brand new laptop and monitor if working remote. All attorneys, except the managing attorney were nice. New Hire team, except the Sr. Paralegal were nice and helpful.ConsFirm sent a current/previous employees completed W2 form to me during the onboarding process, so make sure you ask them to not make the same mistake with your information.Extremely poor/incomplete training was done by Sr. Paralegal on New Hire team.I understand you learn as you go but bc initial training was so incredibly poor, crucial items were not told/given during initial training so cases were missing crucial info throughout the process and that significantly delayed work - they will completely blame you and hold no responsibility. You will have to act as an attorney and paralegal but cont. getting paid as a paralegal.Your ideas to improve processes will get shut down with a quickness - they wont even act like theyll consider it nor encourage more.Working remote, youll have to rely on in-house teams like the filing team…they were so unprofessional in how they spoke to you and how they performed their duties…you literally had to bribe them to get your work touched. It was honestly laughable, I couldnt believe it.The firm has a “perfect plus” mission in which work has no errors - not “very little” errors - no errors and no delays. The managing attorney who preached this, when she was not constantly ooo for long periods of time leaving heavy case loads that required attention, she would take BEYOND the deadline-like a month to review/sign cases. I actually preferred her being ooo so we had no choice but to go to another atty and get work done.
