"Great Place to Work - Staff"   - Anonymous      Write an Anonymous Review

Advice to law firm management: Let more staff members work remotely on occasion. Continue innovative approach.

Pros: Innovative firm that focuses on diversity & inclusion. Good opportunities for advancement and professional development. Brilliant people who are also very down to earth. Although I'm on the staff side of things, I feel like a valued part of the team and that my voice is heard.

Cons: Sometimes departments don't communicate with other departments, not a big issue but just an area of improvement.

Partners to Avoid and Why: I haven't had any issues with partners here. N/A

Favorite Things About this Firm: Innovation, flexibility, the people, and work/life balance. Also, the Seattle office has an awesome rooftop.

"A Short Sighted Firm "   - Anonymous      Write an Anonymous Review

Advice to law firm management: Managers should make sure that some important long term goals are kept to keep things from falling apart too much.

Pros: Everyone here tries to help people make more money each quarter and takes each day one at a time to keep themselves from getting stressed.

Cons: The short sighted thinking does tend to cause problems sometimes for short term gains that could have easily be fixed otherwise.

Advice to law firm management: Hopefully management will do something soon to keep the office politics to a minimum. The work environment here is good, but it could be even better with a few policy changes.

Pros: Associates here are given the freedom to work as they see fit. As long as you meet your billable hours quota you can do what you want, when you want. It's nice to not always have management breathing down my neck and micromanaging me.

Cons: Office politics can sometimes get in the way of productivity and are not always enjoyable. Backbiting and acrimony are more common than they should be.

Everyone Loves LawCrossing

LawCrossing is fantastic! When I am looking for a job, it is the first place I come to. The service is very good and I enjoyed the emails. LawCrossing has more jobs and it is more tailored. Other sites gave a lot of irrelevant results. Your site may have a great algorithm, but it felt like an actual person choosing jobs they felt would be good based on my search. I will always recommend this site!
