Full time 2018 Former Employee

What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
Need to learn not to take things personally and to take care of your employees much better as they really seem to care too much about themselves and not their team members.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
Location is great due to the fact that I live close to the office and didn't have to commute much, sadly that is the only positive thing I would have to say.

What did you not like about this institution?
Staff is always upset and screaming at someone. A very toxic environment to get any work done. Sadly they don't care enough about clients and only about the money. Sadly this is not a place that I would ever like to step foot in again or ever send potential clients.

People, departments, offices, products, services and whatever comes to mind that should be avoided at this institution
Liana Usten, more of an owner but definitely one to steer clear of. Mellisa Mendez is another one that I would never want to be around again.

How could this employer run its business to employees or the public better?
I wish I had one but sadly there isn't anything really good to say except the happiest I had been is when I had left. Steer clear of this one it simply isn't worth the headache.

What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
Respect the laws & your employees. Don’t lie to them. You might actually turn keep one who can teach you how to really work a personal injury case to truly benefit the client.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
Nada

What did you not like about this institution?
After working there 2 days, they told me that they withheld a week’s pay & that their next pay cycle was 2 weeks later. In other words, I wasn’t going to get any money for 3 weeks. They also pushed a confidentiality agreement in front of me which had language which is illegal to use. Told them it’s illegal to withhold any pay & that the law required me to be paid at minimum bi-weekly. They also wanted me to sign a blank payroll form. They didn’t care about whatever the law said and that they “have their ways.” Was told that they wanted to withhold a week of pay because some employees have left without notice. Why? They can’t retain a good & highly skilled employee. The attorney is a solo practitioner because he doesn’t play well with others & gets fed cases by a medical treatment machine. I noted fake cases & they had little to no idea about no-fault or how to do a thorough investigation. Has no teal knowledge about injuries as some of their Bills of Particulars claimed degenerative conditions as actual injuries; delimited their client’s recoveries by giving an ad danum of a defendant’s policy limits. Have no working knowledge of trial prep beyond serving subpoenas for medical records & not knowing that some records needed to have So Ordered subpoenas or that one may consider other demonstrable evidence.

People, departments, offices, products, services and whatever comes to mind that should be avoided at this institution
Liana is nothing but a liar & doesn’t care about the law. She will try to con you if she can. Vitaliy will also claim you have to trust them BUT will do nothing to build that trust. Strident & self-centered. Doesn’t play well with others.

How could this employer run its business to employees or the public better?
Nothing. Even the coffee stinks.
