What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
The firm's management needs to modernize, but they clearly have no intention of doing so.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
I cannot think of many positive things to say about my experience at this law firm.

What did you not like about this institution?
The firm's systems are laughably outdated or nonexistent. The firm uses Worldox, which is a garbage dump for files that you can only search for by name, but there are no naming conventions and no subfolders. Everyone spends half their time just trying to find documents. They have on-site servers like it's still 1995, and because there's limited storage, everyone's emails are archived after 6-months, which means you can't easily access those emails. There is no practice management or project management software. Upper management is so protective of this status quo, no one may question it or try to be innovative. Yet the firm fails to provide the basic tools for an attorney to do her job. There is no attorney marketing support. Management provides no guidance, leadership, or mentorship. Instead, what I saw was politics and egos, and complete lack of the most basic management skills. Although the firm states there is a no-asshole rule, there are plenty, and those partners can behave poorly so long as they have a client base.
