What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
Good perks, technology and benefits. Associate and paralegal experience will depend entirely on what practice group you are in. Generally a good firm to either be an equity partner or a young attorney looking for a resume builder. For everyone else, practice area will dictate satisfaction.

What did you not like about this institution?
Insufficient support staff for associates, some partners are unsupportive on their matters, internal politics and firm structure impact collaboration, no pro bono credit, workload is heavy and compensation should be higher. Some practice groups have great leaders and others do not. People are generally stretched very thin and firm is slow to react to associate requests.

Almost all equity partners should be avoided.

How could this employer run its business to employees or the public better?
Great camaraderie among most associates. Firm is “entrepreneurial” and rewards rainmakers. Associates keep a small percentage of what they originate.
