A Law Firm Making Others Happy on May 19, 2024 - Current Employee Mr. in San Francisco City,

Current Employee

Advice to law firm management:
Lawyers of this firm should begin expanding their services. If the firm growth increased in the later year their profits would greatly increase and more employees would be eager to work here.

Pros:
This local firm enjoys catering to their clients and is truly dedicated to making them happy. Employees feel a sense of closeness working with this firm and the environment is much like family. Employees feel very close to one another and management seems to carry a bond with employees as well.

Cons:
Although this firm has a great reputation among local folks, the business itself is still quite small. If other employees wanted to join this firm they would most likely have to wait a while. It seems this firm does not expand their employment for quite some time.

Working at Stinson LLP: A candid review on May 19, 2024 - Former Employee Mr. in San Francisco City,

Full time 2021 Former Employee

Cons:
I worked at Stinson LLP as a former employee for over a year. While the pay was decent, the culture of the firm left much to be desired. The company has a very traditional and outdated approach, with a significant gender bias.

Regrettably, my personal experience and the reviews from others do not warrant my endorsement of this Stinson LLP services, and I have to leave this negative review. on May 19, 2024 - Former Employee Mr. in San Francisco City,

Cons:
1.0Former Employee, less than 1 yearRed flags everywhereAnonymous Employee in Minneapolis, MNRecommendProsLeftover food from meetings, pretty cool coffee/espresso machineConsPay was less than average for this region. Micromanaging at its finest, would not work with you to attend dr appointments, only option was to use PTO. Older staff feel like new employees are going to take their jobs so they find everything you do wrong and report to the manager. I should have seen this red flag my first week when I was getting trained by the manager and 2 employees came in and complained about another employee all while I was sitting there. Very unprofessional. Very few people are friendly. Offices in different states feel like they are at war sometimes it is such a hostile environment. Management decides the role you were hired for needs to cover 3 additional roles of people who left without rehiring or increasing pay.Advice to ManagementFocus on employee retention and team building.
