Communicate with your superiors to try and distribute the workload more evenly. If you can make adjustments, try to balance your life with work more evenly because it can get hectic balancing both
A great firm that challenges its employees to deliver quality and honest work. The firm goes above expectations with providing large workspaces, a supportive staff, and an easy going atmosphere that makes you feel at home. It was a pleasure working with firm.
It takes time to get used to the large amount of work expected from you and that can get quite overwhelming at times. This leads to having a difficult time balancing work and life.
Allow more room for growth. Provide a better work/life balance.
They have a decent variety of practice areas. The attorneys are highly experienced. The atmosphere is professional and friendly. Management is competent.
There is not a lot of room to grow within the firm. The work/life balance is not good. I didn't get all along with everyone here.
Engage with employees more and bring people together. Listen & look into constant complaints more....there is something to it if you hear the same thing over and over.
Great firm to work for if you have experience. The pay & benefits is good. Not a lot of turn-over. Everyone gets along well. Partners & associates are friendly. Hours are good and they are flexible with time off i.e. dr. appts., personal problems, etc. They do not micro manage or hover over you. Paid parking, matching 401k. Secretaries get annual bonuses on their anniversary. Small bonuses at Christmas.
Not a lot of training offered so if you're not experienced its not a good starting place. No growth potential. Once you start you'll be in that position forever. They have a high tolerance for individuals who "slack off" whether attorneys or staff (this could be a good comment depending on where you stand). Only get 30 minutes for lunch however, the hours are only 9-5. Miami office & Tampa office do not work much as a team but more like separate offices.
Thank you.
