The Dangers of Getting Jobs Through Friends and Family
3 Star Rating
See reviews for Williams Parker Harrison Dietz & Getzen from attorneys and other legal professionals below.
They need to update their employees computer skills and allow those who come in certified and who has those skills move forward .
The best of the law firm is gone
The shareholders. They don't know their employees and will take word of mouth from those who may have reason to try to throw others under the bus.
Jennifer now trying to do a update seminar for parajlegals when the law firm doesn't actively hire or allow certified paralegals to use their certification title.. Also taking credit for other people's work.
Past management.
Hire a new HR director
HR director very rude and unprofessional.
This firm should considering upping the pay for their employees. It may not be in the budget, but good employees will leave and find better opportunities elsewhere.
I had such a great experience working for Williams Parker. This firm really taught me how to do my job well and offered me promotions and better advancement within my first 6 months of working there. They really value their employees and I always felt appreciated in my work.
The only downside to this law firm was the pay amount. We would be paid more in raises, but other firms were paying more in the area. I only left this firm because a better opportunity was given elsewhere. I know it's hard paying employees more sometimes, but it would have been nice.
I advise management to not focus on cronyism because eventually this will lead to employee turnover. If an employee does a good job, please acknowledge that person.
The working environment is very laid back. I also enjoy the location because there is not too much noise or traffic.
One of the employees is able to get all of the best cases because he is friends with the manager. This has caused some of the team's morale to decrease.
Reward or punish attorneys based on their positive or negative behavior and the morale will rise even higher.
Great Environment for All
There is an individual I have dealt with that has caused problems in the firm. Something needs to be done about this person.
Thank you.
