Management should overhaul the employee-review process. It puts too much power in the hands of middle managers. Perhaps they could allow the supervised to have more of a say in the process.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
The firm offers good benefits. The offices are nice and you will work with smart, competent peers and for smart, competent management. The firm is willing to spend money to develop younger staff.

What did you not like about this institution?
The firm leans too far toward bureaucracy. The middle management is often too worried about avoiding responsibility and not worried enough about improvement and truth.
