What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
Giving higher status to general law practitioners could help the company delegate tasks more effectively to address areas of law needing less direct, hands-on experience with the firm's specialties.
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
A strong focus on delivering high-quality service in areas of copyright, intellectual property, patents, and trademarks, a harder-to-find specialty than most legal services. With this specific focus comes a great opportunity for those with a passion for these fields to excel quickly.
What did you not like about this institution?
Just as high performers are recognized, so are poor performers. Those with less dedication to the specialties offered or with a desire to practice in more generalized areas are less likely to fit as well as they might in another firm.

Get a new CEO to run the firm.

My coworkers are some of the best people I've worked with anywhere. They're smart, passionate, and know what needs to be done to get the best possible outcome for their client.
What did you not like about this institution?
The lack of leadership in upper management over the last couple years has made it a very intense and stress-filled environment in the work place.

Listen to your people more and acknowledge the fact that everyone works hard. Don't take that hard work and loyalty for granted.

The environment for clients and staff is fantastic. Everyone here goes out of the way to help one another, but most of all help the client achieve their goals.
What did you not like about this institution?
Their office is very disorganized and the employees are overworked for the amount of money they make. It seems like people are just exhausted all the time.

What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
Stay the course. Probably too many benefits for employees. It should re-evaluate its employee review schedule and budgeting process.
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
Partner Vince Allen is inspirirational with his briiliant mind and calm demeanor. Colin Cahoon is multi-talented author and attorney.
What did you not like about this institution?
The firm needs to be more public about its charitable deeds. It has done so much to advance society that it deserves more public recognition.
People, departments, offices, products, services and whatever comes to mind that should be avoided at this institution
Bobby Braxton. Although i understand he's no longer there. Greg Perrone who now works with BB. No reason really other than they are no longer ghere.
How could this employer run its business to employees or the public better?
Very friendly and capable paralegals. The offices are modern and tasteful. It's what you want from an IP firm. Like a much more expensive silicon valley firm.
