Yes. Senior management needs training, because some are clueless on how to properly treat employees with dignity and respect.

You can't avoid anyone, since this is a nationnwide firm...unfortunately. So, this company needs to have clear expectations of what everyones role will be. Be organized and consistent, and transparent on what people should expect from management, coworkers, and other departments.
How could this employer run its business to employees or the public better?
Most places have a high billing quota. If this is your position, have a plan that prevents burnout and shows employees that you value life work balance.
Have consistency and cohesiveness.
To run a sustainable and successful business, there should be a clear understanding of everyones role BEFORE you hire them. Be very organized. Create an employee manual or handbook and then stick to it.
Fix the technology, so that employees can meet their quota without working off the clock.
Don't brag to clients that you can solve any problem, and then act like you don't know how to fix problems at yout own firm.
Training should occur within the first 2 weeks and should not disrupt people working on deadlines.
Management should stop listening to gossip, and then make an impulsive decision to reprimand employees based on said gossip.
Some managers lack emotional control and need to stop lashing out on employees (especially brand new employees ).
Instead of letting the legal assistants control and manipulate everything to their advantage, partners should be trained to be great leaders (not just a dictator of a boss).

The other attorneys really want to see everyone succeed. Be a helpful contributor and take on the mindset that what benefits one will benefit all.
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
A helpful firm to gain experience and you are able to move up in the firm pretty quickly. They have the best schedules and are flexible with your time schedule.
What did you not like about this institution?
There is little to no communication so it can make your job harder than necessary at times. The salary and benefits are very low compared to other firms of this size.
