5.Former EmployeeKind people and flexible work environmentAnonymous Employee RecommendProsThe managers and attorneys were kind and always willing to help out/show you the ropes.ConsNot flexible with time or allowing people to come in late/leave early or use PTO vs sick time.
Upgrade IT infrastructure so that everyone can maximize the output of their billable hours - I worked with a number of talented paralegals that had specific ideas on how to do this, but many felt like their voices were not being heard all the time.
The firm has a fairly intimate atmosphere and offers talented people long-term positions - I liked that it was not simply a ""revolving door"" of people. Management is fairly transparent - there are not excessive amounts of middle managers giving conflicting demands. Benefits are above average overall.
Some parts of the job that other places have partially automated or otherwise made more efficient are still being done manually here - a number of my paralegals have confirmed this. Spending excess time on relatively minor tasks can lead to lawyers and paralegals alike becoming unnecessarily overworked, which I have seen have rippling effects that make the entire organization somewhat inefficient.
Thank you.
