Find a balance of pride and humility. Continue to treat your employees well, especially the ones that have been at the firm for 10+ years as they are great mentors for new employees.
This firm takes a lot of pride in what they do, which can be good to an extent. There are many employees that have been here for a long time that are able to help show you the ropes when you are new.
This is where the big egos come into play. Being located in LA has caused some people in this firm to get a bigger head than needed. I'm all for being proud, but the cockiness is too much.
Thank you.
