Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP Reviews

Advice to law firm management: I would like to see more events occur throughout the year, such as Christmas parties, to help bring together our front desk staff with the attorney's.

Pros: The work here is very interesting and our team is very accommodating and professional in all regard's. I have also found the flexible hours to be very beneficial as well.

Cons: There can be some friction between the front desk staff and the attorney's but this tends to be somewhat commonplace at most high end firms from my personal experience.

Advice to law firm management: I hope that the leadership team sees fit to reevaluate staffing levels moving forward. The firm would run a lot more efficiently with more support staff.

Pros: The associates here are all very hardworking and intelligent, and the partners are fairly accessible and down to earth. This is a pretty good place to work, for the most part.

Cons: There doesn't seem to be enough support staff available when crunch time rolls around. This can make things more difficult than they need to be.

For more than 50 years, Munger, Tolles & Olson attorneys have been partnering with clients on their most important and complex cases and deals. With offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco, we maintain a national and international practice. Our principal areas of practice include litigation, corporate, labor and employment, environmental, real estate, financial restructuring and tax. Munger Tolles has purposefully maintained a low-leverage environment and eschewed the high-leverage model adopted by many firms. We believe our one-to-one overall partner-to-associate ratio instills a work ethic that results in a cost-effective approach for our clients. In every representation, our 200 lawyers are expected to make a difference in developing and implementing strategies to obtain the best results for the client. In a survey conducted by The American Lawyer, clients said they called on Munger Tolles in “precedent-setting cases that require a creative mind.” Where resources are needed, the survey noted that we are able to deploy an “army of trial lawyers capable of waging war.” We are involved in some of the most high-profile legal cases in the country and count among our clients Bank of America, Transocean, Edison International, Verizon, Rambus, Oaktree Capital Management, KB Home, LG Display, Yucaipa Cos. and Berkshire Hathaway. Everyone Loves LawCrossing

LawCrossing is fantastic! When I am looking for a job, it is the first place I come to. The service is very good and I enjoyed the emails. LawCrossing has more jobs and it is more tailored. Other sites gave a lot of irrelevant results. Your site may have a great algorithm, but it felt like an actual person choosing jobs they felt would be good based on my search. I will always recommend this site!
