What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
Let the associates work in one area and do not move them around so much. It is hard to keep up with all the areas and serve the clients when you are being moved around from one area to another. But that is about my only problem with the firm.
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
They have a long history. They have been around for 70 years and they have a large amount of upper end clients. The great companies or the world are their clients. I loved the fact that I was working with such large players in the world. It was worth all the hard work.
What did you not like about this institution?
The firm has a lot of different areas. Some may say they have too many to keep up with. One week you may be doing Oil and Gas and the next you are working on a chapter 11 bankruptcy case. Then you might get a criminal case. This can be good but it also is hard to keep up with sometimes.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
5.Current Employee, more than 5 yearsBest of Austin Law Firm EmployersAnonymous Employee RecommendProsBig on doing the right thing; Management truly cares about the staff; Great benefits, PTO, 401k matching, staff recognition; Really smart lawyers and staff (I feel lucky to work there); Heavily involved in community service. Nice offices.ConsNo floating holiday; Never closes early for holidays. Long-time employees can be negative (little appreciation for the great place they work because they haven't seen the other side in a long time).
