This is literally the best firm I've worked for, in any industry. F&P is very fair to its staff, promotes from within, cross-trains, and gives opportunities to advance to anyone who shows a desire to learn. The only reason I left was because I moved away from Tampa to Jacksonville, and they don't have an office here. If I ever had the chance to work here again, I'd take it.
I wish they had an office in Jacksonville.
Every partner I met was amazing.
Advancement potential, fairness to staff, open sharing of information, friendliness of the management committee.
Keep your finger on the pulse of staff. Be sure they are happy, and the same is true with junior lawyers. Love that you reward entrepreneurs.
I started as an associate at a large law firm. Was there and made partner. It was not a nice place but I refused to quit. I am now at Fisher Phillips as a woman partner. Respectful, smart, lots of women, and we care. I love it. I haven’t been here long but I couldn’t be happier, nor could the crew I brought, and as law firms go this one is exceptional, so far. Law firms are all about the people. The people here are awesome.
It is a big firm with lots of systems. That is the trade off. Like all big firms you have to learn their systems and how to accomplish things
None known of. There certainly are in a firm of this size but there are none in the office I am in. I am forced to type 20 words here so I am or I can’t post this review. Stupid
Really nice people, flexibility, and a focus on important things. Love the building location and the fact that each office is it’s own profit center, so if there is a “loser” office it doesn’t impact your office
Institute regular performance reviews with actual pay raises. If people feel they are stagnant they aren't going to stick around. Get a better insurance broker.
You will gain good experience in all aspects of labor law. The work is generally pretty interesting. The pay is pretty good for a firm this size.
You get a very small cost of living salary increase every year that is not indexes to the real world economy. Supposedly merit raises exist but I've never seen them. The health insurance premiums are absurd.
Management should focus on giving associates a better pay rate and if possible, relocate the office to any other location.
I loved that this company gave great flexible hours. I also enjoyed working with the other employees.
The pay was not very good and the bonus that I received was laughable at best. The office was also located downtown so there was much noise and traffic in the morning time.
Rework the benefit plans.
This firm is very laid back and relaxing. The environment amongst coworkers is very positive and uplifting to making me want to be at my best at every moment. Even more so since there is very good opportunities to advance within the firm.
The healthcare plan is terrible; most of the benefits are subpar.
Thank you.
