Literally a psychopath! on May 19, 2024 - Former Employee Mr. in San Francisco City,

Full time 2018 Former Employee

What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
Since it's just him, he needs therapy ASAP. He is in his old mentality and has the highest and unrealistic expectations from you.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
If you're a loner, you will be alone in the office most of the time, but prep yourself when he comes back from court!

What did you not like about this institution?
Please do not be fooled by the high salary offered by this individual, he will make your life a living hell by all means! .

People, departments, offices, products, services and whatever comes to mind that should be avoided at this institution
Solo, so just him. Joseph Shemaria. He is a very difficult individual to handle, you really do not want to spend all your day working for this guy. Respect for me has no dollar amount.

How could this employer run its business to employees or the public better?
Absolutely nothing. His personality is terrible, has no sense of humor, no respect, no patience. very dry and very rude.

Senile-He must have dementia. Sad little prick! on May 19, 2024 - Former Employee Mr. in San Francisco City,

Full time 2018 Former Employee

What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
He needs to retire and attend anger management classes.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
None

What did you not like about this institution?
Rude, condescending, disrespectful. He forgets his own instructions. He is mean to everybody. He would talk down to me and I gave it back to him. I told him he is rude and he makes the simplest job impossible. Nobody wants to work for him. He lures you with a high wage. I even negotiated higher with immediate benefits but he is intolerable to work with. I’ve had almost 20 years paralegal experience and have succeeded and revered in my past workplaces. He will do the minimum and charge his clients a lot. It takes him the whole day to write a letter because he has to dictate it to his voice recognition. The positive outcome was after six weeks of terror, I walked in at my last place of employment and was offered my job back, received a gigantic raise, and got an instant promotion.

People, departments, offices, products, services and whatever comes to mind that should be avoided at this institution
Avoid this man at all cost.

How could this employer run its business to employees or the public better?
None. It was the most miserable six weeks of my work life.
