Nothing.
The associate, Burton Witman, is disrespectful to others. He snatches paperwork out of peoples' hands, swats and shoos at his assistants as if he were swatting a bug. Additionally, one of the partners at the firm told me I had lied about my experience (which I had not) without bothering to check my background/seek references. I was treated horribly here, and would not wish such treatment on any human being.
Allan Mantel told me that "he was going to talk and I was going to listen" - after his colleagues complained about me having zero experience in the field, which they knew. Burton Witman shooing me away like a fly, snatching things out of my hand, and rolling his eyes at me made me realize the lack of respect for any individual these people believe to be beneath them.
This firm needs to hire some new attorneys to help out on more important timely cases. I'd also like to see some of the not so helpful secretaries replaced as well.
The work at this firm is very rewarding, considering that we focused on family law. I also felt as though my fellow coworkers really cared about the relationships that they built with their clients.
There were too many times in which we got backed up with work due to not having enough helping hands. My secretary was also not very accommodating as well.
Thank you.
