The "Ultimate" Law Firm to Work For. on May 19, 2024 - Current Employee Mr. in San Francisco City,

Current Employee

What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
It is a fast-paced environment where we are empowered to make decisions without micro-management so long as those decisions line up with our culture and vision. Focus on your strengths and you need to be good at networking to advance here.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
The great people make the place great - they put people first. I have worked here for almost 5 years as an Attorney and love the interaction with clients and employees. They truly keep the culture alive here by walking the walk.

What did you not like about this institution?
Great Law firm, but in order to advance it's mostly about connections you have, and not your experience/background. Time Management can be a challenge as workload is high.

What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
Keep employees around that have been there so that way they can continue bringing in great business to the company and improve things even more.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
I found myself learning a lot and progressing in my career while working there. Everyone there is great and good to be around.

What did you not like about this institution?
I was offered a position with more pay and the firm did nothing to try and match that, so I had to move onto the other company.

An Amazing Firm on May 19, 2024 - Former Employee Mr. in San Francisco City,

Former Employee

What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
The firm needs to expand their opportunities for employees to advance. At the very least, advancement needs to seem achievable because at times it seems the opportunity never presents itself

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
This is an amazing firm that challenges you and expands your horizons. There is a great sense of family present here and it shows through the firm's work ethic. Our workload was evenly distributed between the team so you never feel lost in your vision. I met a lot of great attorneys here who expanded my definition of what it means to be a great attorney. It was a pleasure working here.

What did you not like about this institution?
Upward advancement within the firm is unclear. It's hard to find a clear path to advancement and while the staff is wonderful, they are not very accommodating to this specific goal.
