What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
More training for employees as well as responsibility initiatives are kind of needed to push people. Get more updated on what tools and software other firms are using to create a smoother experience.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
The firm is best at really making the entire experience with employees and customers feel like they're part of the family and they're good at being a law firm.

What did you not like about this institution?
The firm is a little behind with the times, and does not use common legal billing or search tools such as ie ELITE.

Management could be more open about firm goals and better lay out its overall strategy for the firm's development and its training of attorneys.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
Conway, Farrell is populated for the most part by genuinely nice people. This goes for both the attorneys and the support staff. The firm also has a solid reputation in the industry that is well-deserved for being a competent insurance defense shop. At the same time, the work load is manageable and people are genial. They socialize well together outside the office at firm outings and insurance industry events. In addition, a true gem of the firm is the remaining name partner who has exceptional insurance law and trial experience and takes great pains to ensure attorney development and comradery at his firm. The firm manager/tech person is also excellent and a valuable resource for both attorneys and staff.

What did you not like about this institution?
Conway Farrell's document management system is good for what it does (keeping track of cases, storing files electronically, and keeping a calendar), but it is not helpful with respect to researching prior work product of the firm such as briefs, case law banks, etc. As a result, you usually have to rely upon word of mouth to obtain the institutional knowledge of the firm.

For the most part, no one in particular needs to be "avoided." There are, however, a couple of eccentric but otherwise acceptable individuals who take some getting used to working with on a daily basis.

How could this employer run its business to employees or the public better?
Most of Conway Farrell's employees are actually great to work and associate with, and there is generally a good sense of humor about the place. People take their work seriously but not so much so that it becomes a typically unpleasant legal practice.
