Former Employee Intern

Advice to law firm management: V&E should be more open about their interview process and post more opportunities for law students at a variety of their offices.
Pros: V&E has a prominent name and they host the most welcoming receptions. I really enjoy meeting with all of their employees in lots of different locations.
Cons: It is very difficult to get an interview at V&E, even if your law school has a relationship with them. They should do something about this.
Partners to Avoid and Why: I have not had enough time to interact with the partners in order to be able to post a review about this, but I have enjoyed the ones that I have met briefly.
Favorite Things About this Firm: I love that V&E is known as a Texas firm but it also has offices all over, and it also has a relationship with schools in cities where it doesn't have offices, such as Tulane.
Advice to law firm management: I think there should be much more opportunities to move up in the firm.
Pros: Good Firm but Lacks Upward Mobility
Cons: There isn't all that much room to advance here, which I wish there wasbecause I enjoy the work. It's also very difficult to make partner. So this probably won't be a law firmthat you'd want to stay at for a long period of time.
I was able to obtain my new job through LawCrossing. I love your service! Hopefully, I won't need your help for a while, but if I do, I'll certainly sign up again. I have already told others about your great site.
