One of the top small IP boutiques in Boston. While not a household name like some of the larger firms, for those who desire a smaller firm and the flexibility that comes with that they are definitely worth consideration.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
While a boutique, the firm's compensation is generally competitive with much larger firms. Family type atmosphere. Many attorneys have worked there form many years, some their entire careers. A good roster of clients, including both Fortune 500 and small startups. Clear paths for career advancement for associates to partner.

What did you not like about this institution?
The firm places a great deal of responsibility on associates to manage their own workload and develop their their practice. Those who are self-motivated seem to thrive in this, while others that desire more "hand-holding" can find the lack of rigid structure difficult.
