What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
I think it would prove beneficial if the partners could find a way to provide advancement opportunities for their associates so that they wouldn't feel they have to leave the firm.
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
For an attorney interested in the practice of energy law, I can't imagine many firms on the West Coast being a better place to work than Alcantar&Kahl. They have an impressive client list and offer the opportunity to take on challenging and interesting work.
What did you not like about this institution?
Alcantar&Kahl is a very small firm. For some people that may be a good aspect but for me it proved to mean that I didn't see much in the way of an upward trajectory for me with the firm.
