Senior Director, Medical Information (Remote)
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Director, Medical Information is responsible for setting the strategic vision for Global Medical Information (GMI) and overseeing a team of internal staff and vendors. The role involves defining and driving the vision of the GMI team to provide high-level service and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing strategies for the GMI team that align with the Global Medical strategy and corporate goals.
- Overseeing GMI processes and systems to facilitate departmental goals.
- Collaborating with GMI staff and other departments to ensure compliance and readiness for audits.
- Reviewing and approving GMI processes and systems, while identifying areas for improvement.
- Leading the development and execution of disease and brand-focused scientific platforms.
- Overseeing the strategic publication plan and ensuring compliance with publication practices.
- Managing departmental project performance and implementing initiatives for organizational excellence.
- Delivering medical information services aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Driving technology solutions to improve team efficiencies.
- Leading and building a high-performing team, managing staff and vendors to meet departmental objectives.
- Monitoring key performance indicators and recommending adjustments as needed.
- Forecasting and managing budgets to achieve departmental goals.
Education and Experience Information:
The role requires an advanced degree in a health-related science such as MD, PharmD, PhD, or JD. A minimum of 12 years of experience in Medical Information within the biotech/pharma industry is required, with at least 5 years in a management or supervisory role. The candidate should have experience leading Medical Information teams for over 8 years.
Salary Information:
The pay range for this position is between $236,000 and $353,900. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and equity awards. Actual base salary will be determined based on skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors. Flex Designation:
This position is remote-eligible, allowing for flexibility in work location. Options include working remotely five days a week, working in a hybrid model with up to two remote days, or working on-site with occasional flexibility. The flex status is subject to the company's policy and may change.
