Corporate M&A Mid-Level Associate
Job Responsibilities:
The Corporate M&A Mid-Level Associate will be part of the corporate group at a law firm renowned for providing services to technology and life sciences companies at various stages of development, from early start-ups to globally traded corporations. The associate will work within one of the premier technology mergers and acquisitions practices globally, contributing to transactions that have amounted to over $750 billion in recent years. Responsibilities include:
- Engaging in mergers and acquisitions transactions for a diverse range of clients, including leading serial acquirers and prominent unicorns.
- Collaborating with a team recognized as the 2022 Technology M&A Law Firm of the Year by Global M&A Network.
- Working on strategic exits and acquisition programs.
- Providing legal expertise and strategic advice to clients within the technology and life sciences sectors.
- Maintaining superior oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
- Upholding the standards recognized by Chambers USA and The Legal 500 for middle-market M&A practices.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must have:
- 3-5 years of substantial M&A experience at a leading corporate firm.
- Active Bar membership in the jurisdiction where they will be working.
- Superior academic credentials.
- Experience with, or an affinity for, technology and/or life sciences companies is considered advantageous.
- Candidates must either be barred in the state of the office they are applying for or be eligible to sit/waive into the next bar exam.
Salary Information:
The anticipated salary range for the Corporate M&A Mid-Level Associate position is $260,000 - $310,000. The actual base salary offered may depend on various factors, including the individual applicant’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location from which they will be performing the job. A discretionary bonus based on performance may also be available for eligible employees. Additional information regarding employee eligibility for benefits and discretionary bonus will be provided upon request.
