Job Title: Senior Bankruptcy Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Senior Bankruptcy Associate Attorney with 10 years of experience. The ideal candidate should have strong writing skills, excellent academic credentials, and preferably experience representing senior lenders.

Duties:

• Handle bankruptcy cases, including Chapter 7, 11, and 13 filings.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials.
• Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on complex bankruptcy matters.
• Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients regarding bankruptcy issues.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of IL in good standing.
• 10 years of experience practicing bankruptcy law.
• Strong academic credentials and demonstrated commitment to excellence.
• Experience representing senior lenders in bankruptcy proceedings is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of IL is required.
