Duties

  • Draft and negotiate loan documents and related agreements for commercial real estate transactions

  • Represent lender clients in secured real estate financing matters

  • Assist with structuring transactions, title and survey review, and due diligence analysis

  • Coordinate with opposing counsel, clients, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth closings

  • Collaborate with partners and team members on complex multi-party deals

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in lender-side real estate finance at a large law firm

  • Prior experience handling complex real estate loan transactions

  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment

  • Track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities in high-volume environments

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

  • Admission to the New York State Bar (Required)
