The Opportunity: Law Clerk - Limited Term with Los Angeles Superior Court

The Los Angeles Superior Court, the largest unified trial court in the United States, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Law Clerk - Limited Term. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and unbeatable benefits. The Court is looking for candidates with excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to conduct legal research independently, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. If you are licensed to practice law in California and a member in good standing of the State Bar, or eligible to take the California State Bar Examination, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Conduct legal research and analyze motions and other matters on calendar
- Prepare written recommendations and provide expert analysis to expedite court calendars
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with judicial officers and colleagues
- Manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

Qualifications:

- Licensed to practice law in the state of California and an active member in good standing of the State Bar of California
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to conduct legal research independently and reach sound conclusions
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
