- 10-week summer program designed to provide a realistic view of a career in private practice
- Opportunity for client interaction, courtroom activities, and teamwork with **Members Only** attorneys
- Work projects and relationship building with attorneys across seven core practice areas
- Comprehensive professional development sessions and training programs, including mock negotiation and deposition simulations
- Summer Associate Retreat, Summer Foundations Training Series, and practice group overviews exclusively created for summer associates
- Variety of planned social events to build relationships with attorneys and acclimate to the city and firm culture
- Immediate contact with clients and involvement in strategy, negotiating, drafting, and business development meetings
- Variety of work in terms of substantive areas of law and project types
- Individualized work performance evaluations and a dedicated partner mentor for career advice and guidance
- Criteria: full-time rising 2L or part-time 3rd year law students enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or spring 2026
- Requirements for application: exceptional academic performance, moot court or law journal experience, strong writing and analytical skills, outstanding leadership abilities and on-campus involvement, commitment to community service, strong communication and interpersonal skills, desire for a long-term career in Cleveland, permanent authorization to work in the United States, and completion of the Suited candidate assessment within three days of submitting application materials

- Application period for the 2025 2L summer associate program opens on May 20, 2024, and students may apply without spring 2024 transcripts and return to upload them later or wait until they have a full set of transcripts for their 1L year
