Nixon Peabody, a leading law firm, is seeking a 2026 summer associate to join our Litigation Department in our Washington, DC office. This is an exciting opportunity for rising second-year law students with a demonstrated interest and/or experience in litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, excellent communication and legal writing skills, and a commitment to teamwork and client service.

As a summer associate, you will be responsible for providing legal research, writing, and other substantive support to our attorneys. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of assignments in our litigation department, including our practices in Complex Disputes, Labor & Employment, Government Investigations & White-Collar Defense, Real Estate and Construction, and Privacy and Technology. Our summer associates also receive substantive feedback and mentoring on their assignments, as well as access to various training programs.

Salary for this position in Washington, DC is estimated to be $4, per week.
