Job Title: Trust & Estates - Mid-Level Associate
Job Responsibilities:
- Engage in estate planning for high-net-worth individuals, including related trust administration.
- Plan and administer taxable estates.
- Prepare federal estate tax returns.
- Conduct business succession planning.
- Engage in charitable planning.
- Understand and implement complex tax strategies.
Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates should possess at least two to four years of experience in practice at a boutique law firm or within a group at a larger law firm.
- Excellent academic credentials and writing skills are required.
- An . degree in taxation is preferred.
Salary Information:
- The annualized salary range for this position in Washington State is $225,000 to $290,000.
- Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s education, training, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
- Full-time employees may be eligible for a bonus and health insurance with an optional HSA, long-term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, 10 paid holidays each year, and an employee assistance program.
- For full-time employees, the initial sick leave benefit is 80 hours of sick leave per year.
- Attorneys generally take approximately three weeks of vacation from work each year, which may vary depending on the needs of the clients and the law firm.
