The exceptional EY experience is yours to build. With a supportive and inclusive culture, as well as access to global resources and technology, you will have the chance to become the best version of yourself.
EY values high-ethical standards and integrity among its employees, and expects all candidates to demonstrate these qualities. As a Tax Senior, you will play a crucial role in helping EY become even better.
The Financial Services Organization (FSO) is a separate business unit within EY dedicated to serving the global financial services marketplace. This focused model allows EY to work with a range of clients, from established institutions to dynamic new entrants, across banking and capital markets, wealth and asset management, and insurance.
The International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) practice at EY is unique in that it is a joint venture between the Transaction Advisory Services and Tax service lines. This allows for maximum market opportunities and growth for ITTS professionals. The transactions market is a major part of EY's strategy, providing a huge opportunity for both the business and EY professionals.
The Transfer Pricing (TP) competency within ITTS addresses planning, documentation, and controversy issues related to intercompany transactions. As a Tax Senior, you will have the opportunity to participate in cross-competency trainings and work on a variety of engagements, mentored by experienced professionals.
The constantly changing regulatory environment has led to rapid growth in the area of transfer pricing, and EY is a leader in synthesizing global developments and advising clients. This role offers the opportunity to work with prestigious global clients and be at the forefront of economic analysis.
As a Tax Senior, you will be heavily involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, providing a fully integrated approach to transfer pricing by preparing documents, participating in advanced pricing agreements (APAs), and assisting in defending transfer pricing in audits. You will also have the opportunity to model financial outcomes, value intangible assets, and develop practical planning approaches.
To qualify for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, management, policy analysis, or another relevant discipline, as well as a master's, law degree, or CPA. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work at a fast pace, and a minimum of two years of related work experience in professional services or professional tax organization, with specific experience in transfer pricing, are also required.
EY is looking for international tax professionals who can translate complex concepts into clear and easily understood recommendations. You should also be confident in coaching and reviewing your colleagues and be willing to travel as needed.
A PhD in a relevant discipline and a consistent record of excellence in a professional services environment are preferred, as well as existing transfer pricing experience.
At EY, you will have the opportunity to continuously learn and develop the mindset and skills to navigate whatever comes next. Success is defined by you, and EY provides the tools and flexibility for you to make a meaningful impact in your own way. Transformative leadership, a diverse and inclusive culture, and a comprehensive compensation and benefits package are also offered.
