Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff, ensuring efficient operation and support throughout the legal process.
- Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings, showcasing strong advocacy skills.
- Determine case strategies and solutions tailored to serve clients' needs after thorough analysis of each case.
- Provide legal counsel to clients by assessing their needs and determining a proper course of action to effectively address their legal issues.
- Conduct comprehensive research and draft briefs, pleadings, and motions to support case strategies and legal arguments.
- Exhibit a passion for lawyering and actively participate in courtroom proceedings to make a positive impact.
- Maintain honesty and demonstrate good ethical character in all professional dealings.
- Build strong connections with people, reflecting a genuine passion for helping others.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring attention to detail and quality.

Education and Experience Information:
- Must be a member of the local bar association, with active membership preferred.
- Advanced computer skills in legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is necessary to perform various administrative and legal functions.
- Graduation from law school with a Juris Doctorate (.) degree is required, along with at least 2 years of experience in representing clients.
- Ability to handle a heavy caseload with minimal supervision is essential for success in this role.
- Qualified candidates will have over 3 years of experience in legal practice.
- Admission to practice law in Tennessee is mandatory.
- Experience in general or criminal law is advantageous, with former prosecution experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working in other law firms or government legal departments is considered a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience in criminal law is preferred for candidates applying for this position.
Salary Information:
- Compensation is set at $105,000, depending on experience (DOE).
