Job Title: Tax Senior Associate
Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior Associate within the **Members Only** team, you will be an integral part of a team that provides business advisory services to private companies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting private companies with audit, tax compliance, and planning to improve operational efficiency and focus on business strategy.
- Designing and implementing personal and customized service plans for privately owned entities, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals.
- Focusing on key issues such as wealth management, compliance, cash flow management, equity expansion, divestiture, and exit strategies.
- Working as part of a team of problem solvers to address complex business issues from strategy to execution.
- Utilizing feedback and reflection to develop self-awareness, personal strengths, and address development areas.
- Delegating tasks to provide opportunities for others, coaching them to deliver results.
- Demonstrating critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems.
- Using a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from industry or sector trends.
- Reviewing your work and that of others for quality, accuracy, and relevance.
- Knowing how and when to use available tools for a given situation and explaining the reasons for this choice.

Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
- Required Fields of Study: Accounting
- Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years
- Certification(s) Required: Must be committed to obtaining certification before being promoted to Manager. Certifications include Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification(s) Preferred: CPA or Member of the Bar
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of tax-related intricacies of partnership structures and related transactions within private partnerships.
- Experience in interpreting and applying relevant aspects of US Tax Code sections and associated regulations, particularly in partnership structures.
- Proficiency in consulting and modeling for M&A and equity transactions.
- Experience in marketing and business development efforts.
- Ability to interpret, prepare, and process multiple information to calculate partnership allocations, and to review and reconcile the outcome of this information as it relates to multiple partnerships.
- Collaboration across disciplines to design and implement systems and process enhancements.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
- Specialized tax consulting and compliance related to partnership structures and related transactions for publicly traded partnerships, private equity funds, hedge funds, and/or other private partnerships.
- Creating and leveraging complex spreadsheets and data analytic tools.
- Writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting to and/or for all levels of industry audiences, clients, and internal staff and management.
- Identifying and addressing client needs, actively participating in client discussions and meetings, and managing engagements.
- Leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction, motivate members, and promote continuous improvement and innovation.
- Knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment.
- Innovating through new and existing technologies and experimenting with digitization solutions.
- Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools.
- Utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $83,000 - $208,000, with individuals potentially being eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. This range is applicable for roles based in Maryland. Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
