Job Title: Tax Director - Private Companies
Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Director within the department, you will be part of a team dedicated to helping private companies with various business advisory needs. Your responsibilities will include:

Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
- Required Fields of Study: Accounting
- Minimum Years of Experience: 8 years
Certification(s) Required:
- CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
- Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge and/or a proven record of success in assisting companies to understand and assess the tax impact of company business, operations, and transactions in multiple jurisdictions.
- Apply deep understanding of tax compliance and consulting for various entities, including corporations, partnerships, pass-through entities, and Subchapter S corporations.
- Demonstrate technical prowess with ASC740.
- Identify and address client needs and develop and sustain client relationships.
- Use networking, negotiation, and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities.
- Prepare and present complex written and verbal materials.
- Define resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collection.
- Lead teams to generate a vision, establish direction, and motivate members.
- Create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $140,900 - $434,000, with individuals potentially eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. This salary range is specific to roles based in Maryland. Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
