Job Title: Senior Ethics Manager, Allegations Management
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and shape the Ethics program, focusing on strategic and operational initiatives within the team managing the intake and triage of allegations and complex case management.
- Manage and remediate key risk areas across the Ethics & Compliance program, providing leadership in addressing legal, regulatory, and compliance-related reviews.
- Develop consistency across the firm and identify opportunities to enhance the Ethics program.
- Operate within cross-functional teams to arrive at appropriate solutions for complex issues.
- Identify and leverage internal and external data and emerging trends to develop insights and recommendations for the Ethics program.
- Drive content recommendations for changes to firm policies, standards, and training based on insights from data and benchmarking.
- Implement data, technology, and tooling capabilities to support the Allegations Management program, ensuring data quality and appropriate analytics use.
- Develop solutions tailored to the firm's needs and regulatory expectations, collaborating with stakeholders across various functions such as Legal, Internal Audit, Finance, and HR.
- Drive and own organizational, operational, or strategic Ethics initiatives and engage with Ethics & Compliance colleagues and stakeholders.
- Sustain and evolve the Ethics & Compliance program, upholding the firm's commitment to integrity and lawful practices.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees or applicable professional certifications preferred. Juris Doctor (JD) strongly preferred.
- 8+ years of professional experience in legal, regulatory, and compliance environments, with a preference for attorneys with "Big Law" and/or in-house experience.
- 4+ years of experience in leading and managing complex investigations, including litigation, internal investigations, or regulatory reviews.
- 5+ years of technical experience in identifying and addressing legal, regulatory, and compliance issues, including multifaceted investigations.
- Experience using third-party case management technologies to drive complex investigations.
- Strong skills in Excel, Tableau (or other data visualization technology), and data management preferred.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
- Ability to influence and engage with various audiences to cultivate trust-based, peer-counselor relationships.
- Builds trust-based relationships with leaders both within and outside the team, collaborating generously and being sought after as a key thought partner.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to drive outcomes on cross-functional and complex topics.
- Exhibits the highest levels of discretion and judgment in safeguarding highly sensitive and confidential materials.
