Overview of the Role

As a Hearing Representative, you will be responsible for analyzing individual case information, preparing clients and their witnesses for hearings, and advocating on their behalf. This is a deadline-driven role that requires knowledge of state-specific laws and statutes regarding unemployment benefits. You will work closely with clients, witnesses, and internal teams to gather and analyze information to support your case.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze case information and document evidence to support your case during hearings
- Prepare clients and their witnesses for unemployment compensation appeal hearings
- Communicate with clients and witnesses to gather information and discuss strengths and weaknesses of the case
- Stay updated on state regulations, departmental procedures, and internal systems

Experience and Skills Required

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in unemployment or administrative hearings
- Ability to represent clients in hearings via phone or in person
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to learn and adapt to new regulations and procedures

What Sets You Apart

- Legal education or certification as a paralegal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Experience with G Suite
