A prestigious law firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join its litigation team in Stamford, Connecticut. This role is ideal for a skilled litigator passionate about advocating for injury victims and maximizing case outcomes through meticulous legal strategy and compassionate client service.

Location:

  • Stamford, Connecticut

Duties:

  • Litigate personal injury cases involving automobile, trucking, and premises liability.

  • Collaborate with clients, legal teams, and partners to develop factual and medical evidence.

  • Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and filings for State and Federal courts.

  • Conduct legal research and present motions.

  • Manage depositions of parties, witnesses, and expert witnesses.

  • Prepare and present cases at trial as part of a trial team.

  • Handle pre-litigation, litigation, and settlement phases.

  • Draft settlement demands and negotiate claims with a client-focused approach.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of personal injury litigation experience.

  • Admission to the Connecticut Bar (dual admission in New York preferred).

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a legal team.

  • Strong time management and multitasking skills in a high-paced environment.

  • Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.

  • High comfort level with Microsoft Office and legal technology tools.

  • Strong communication skills (written and oral).

  • Growth mindset and openness to ongoing training and development.

  • Compassionate and client-focused professional demeanor.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Connecticut (New York license preferred).
