Job Title: Director, Product Management - Westlaw
Job Responsibilities:
The Director of Product Management for Westlaw is tasked with transforming legal research and litigation workflows using cutting-edge AI and high-quality legal content. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of AI-savvy lawyers to deconstruct complex legal research and litigation workflows into manageable parts that can be effectively handled by state-of-the-art AI.
- Collaborating with data scientists and engineers to quickly bring new solutions to the market.
- Enhancing briefs and motions through sophisticated legal analysis and efficient legal research.
- Conducting customer research with experienced litigators to gain a deeper understanding of customer workflows and refine product concepts.
Education and Experience Information:
Ideal candidates for this role should have a deep understanding of AI advancements and be fluent with the latest AI tools and techniques. Additionally, candidates should have either:
- Extensive experience as a litigator specializing in complex legal research, or
- Over 5 years of experience in product development within the legal industry, preferably focused on litigation.
Salary Information:
- The base compensation range for this role varies across locations. Eligible office locations include New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, CA, McLean, VA, and Washington, DC, with a base compensation range of $177,380 - $329,420.
- In other eligible US locations, unless specified otherwise, the base compensation range is $154,000 - $286,000.
- The role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is determined by several factors, including an individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity considerations.
- Base pay is part of a comprehensive Total Reward program that includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
Additional Information:
The position is a full-time role with a hybrid remote working model, allowing for 2-3 days a week in the office depending on the role.
