Technical Claims Supervisor, Major Case Unit - Remote/Hybrid Working - Full Time
Arch Insurance Group is seeking an experienced claims professional for their growing Major Case Unit.

Responsibilities include actively managing and overseeing large exposure and complex liability claims.
No direct reports, but responsible for managing the claims and TPA process.
Deliver industry leading technical claim handling, claim outcomes, business support, and customer service.
Collaborate with TPA team members, Arch Claim Account Managers, and other claim professionals.
Work closely with underwriters, Legal, Operations, and other Arch functions to ensure timely and effective communication.
Maintain effective communication with insureds and brokers, making exceptional customer service a top priority.
Coverage analysis, investigation, liability and damage evaluation, reserving, litigation management, vendor management, settlement negotiations, and claim resolution.
Retain and work closely with defense and coverage counsel to create and execute on litigation/coverage strategies and budgets.
Effective and timely claim reporting to other claim professionals, management, and business stakeholders.
Attend mediations, trials, and other proceedings.
Minimum of 10 years commercial liability claim handling experience, including complex and large exposure claims.
Trucking, construction, or medical professional liability claim handling experience is a plus.
TPA management/oversight experience is a plus.
Excellent customer service, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Strong communication, collaboration, influencing, listening, and interpersonal skills.
Able to process complex information and make sound decisions and recommendations.
Able to work independently and in a highly collaborative team environment.
Adaptable and able to succeed in a rapidly changing workplace.
Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
Juris Doctorate desired, but not required.
Base salary range of $140,000 - $165,000/year, with total individual compensation dependent on various factors.
Hybrid role with 2 days in office per week.
