Job Title: Senior Corporate Counsel
Experience: 5-7 years
Location: Austin, TX

Responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws pertaining to pharmacies, telemedicine, and e-commerce, working with outside legal counsel
- Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare/review legal documents
- Manage litigation and other legal matters, including working with external counsel and coordinating with stakeholders
- Ensure organization's activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Identify potential legal risks and provide guidance on risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with internal business leaders and external consultants on privacy terms and conditions
- Participate in contract negotiations and review agreements to protect organization's interests
- Analyze complex legal issues and provide recommendations to management and team members
- Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations and advise accordingly
- Manage relationships with industry trade groups and outside legal counsel

Qualifications:

- Law degree (LLB or JD) from an accredited law school
- 5-7 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a law firm, corporate legal department, or pharmaceutical/medical background
- Admission to bar association may be required depending on jurisdiction and nature of work
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with legal team and other departments
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professionalism, ethics, and integrity in all interactions
- Adaptability and willingness to learn
