Job Description:
- Volunteer law clerk program sponsored by the Maryland Attorney General's Office
- Provides law students with the opportunity to serve the citizens of Maryland in various legal fields
- Involves legal research and writing, witness and client interviews, and assisting with litigation in trial, administrative, and appellate courts
- Work covers a wide range of areas, including criminal investigations and prosecutions, environmental enforcement, civil litigation, and appellate advocacy
- Gives participants the chance to make a difference in communities across the state
Qualifications:
- Excellent legal research and writing abilities
- Strong communication and team skills
- Good work ethic and positive attitude
- Flexible schedule, with a minimum commitment of 15-20 hours per week
- May be eligible for course credit
