A leading law firm is currently seeking a mid-level associate attorney with 4–6 years of experience to join its Complex Litigation and Arbitration practice group in New York. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with a strong background in civil litigation, particularly those with courtroom experience. White collar litigation exposure is considered an advantage. The position offers significant responsibility, high-level casework, and the chance to work alongside some of the most accomplished attorneys in the field.

Location:

• New York City, NY

Duties:

• Handle complex civil litigation matters from inception to resolution

• Participate in and lead trial preparation and trial proceedings

• Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests

• Take and defend depositions

• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda

• Collaborate with a litigation team on strategy and client advisement

• Maintain direct communication with clients and opposing counsel

Requirements:

• 4–6 years of complex litigation experience

• Civil trial experience required; white collar litigation experience is a plus

• Admitted to practice and in good standing in the State of New York

• Law firm experience required

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from a nationally recognized, accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active bar license in New York

• Ability to manage multiple high-stakes matters simultaneously
