Job Overview:
A well-established, mission-driven immigration law firm is seeking a Bilingual Associate Attorney to join its legal team. This fully remote role focuses on serving immigrant communities across the United States, particularly through humanitarian-based immigration cases such as VAWA, U-Visa, T-Visa, and SIJS. The ideal candidate is a fluent Spanish speaker with at least two years of experience in immigration law, a passion for advocacy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services to underserved populations.

Location:

  • Philadelphia, PA

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of immigration matters, primarily VAWA, T-Visa, U-Visa, and SIJS cases

  • Conduct client consultations and maintain communication throughout representation

  • Draft and file petitions, affidavits, legal briefs, and other immigration filings

  • Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies

  • Collaborate with legal staff and intake team to evaluate new case opportunities

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration policies and humanitarian relief updates

  • Utilize legal technology and case management systems for efficient case tracking

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an immigration attorney handling humanitarian-based cases

  • Must be authorized to work in the .

  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written)

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a remote, collaborative team structure

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited . law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in any . state or jurisdiction

  • New Jersey Bar membership is a plus but not required

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research and writing abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English
