Location:

Duties:

  • Manage and litigate insurance defense cases, focusing on various practice areas including General Liability, Auto, Trucking, and more.
  • Explore and implement early resolution strategies for cases, seeking alternatives to traditional litigation when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop case strategies and contribute to the early resolution of client matters.
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding case updates, progress, and next steps.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and ethical recording of billable hours.
  • Participate in training, mentoring, and strategy sessions to enhance professional development.
  • Maintain a high level of responsiveness to client inquiries and needs.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in insurance defense matters.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to achieving client goals and case resolutions.
  • Technologically proficient and comfortable with case management systems and technology tools.
  • Knowledge of AIM/Perfect Law is a plus.
  • Membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Florida Bar.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong litigation skills with the ability to handle complex insurance defense matters.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Knowledge of insurance defense strategies and early resolution techniques.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism.
