Tax Senior Consultant - SAP Global Trade Services

Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior Consultant in SAP Global Trade Services at the company, you will engage with industry-leading clients and work within a dynamic team environment. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Delivering complex projects efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Leading and assisting with Customer and Sales Operations pursuits and practice development initiatives.
- Promoting and participating in forums to share expertise, strengthen the company's collective knowledge, and resolve client challenges.
- Collaborating on innovative solutions to enhance the future of the practice.
- Developing knowledge and gaining project experience in SAP's newest and future solutions like SAP S/4 & SAP GTS, Edition for HANA.
- Working with clients to assess and deploy technology solutions for international trade management operations.
- Helping importers and exporters achieve worldwide compliance and realize efficiencies in their global supply chain.
- Advising . and foreign multinational companies on global import and export strategies and compliance.
- Providing planning and compliance assistance, and exploring automated import and export solutions.
- Engaging in supply chain efficiency planning, including trade and security, customs valuation planning, first sale for export planning, and analyzing transfer pricing policies to work towards compliance with customs valuation requirements.
- Assisting in process improvement planning and systems implementation.

Education and Experience Information:
Required:
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 – 3 days per week.
- 3+ years of relevant SAP consulting or industry experience.
- Hands-on functional configuration and design experience.
- Experience with one or more SAP ECC or S/4 modules such as SD, MM, LE.
- Participation in all phases of at least 2 full-lifecycle SAP implementations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a legal, business, or technology-related field.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

One of the following active accreditations is required, in process, or a willingness to obtain:
- Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible: Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent.
- Certifications: US Customhouse Broker's License, CUSECO (Certified . Export Control Officer).
- Where applicable, non-US citizen qualifying credentials: Foreign equivalent of the above certifications, CUSICO (Certified US Import Compliance Officer), Professional Accreditation in EU Customs Law (post masters).

- Technical or functional lead on at least 1 full-lifecycle SAP implementation.
- Software aptitude in PowerPoint, MS Project, Access, Excel, and/or Visio.
- Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers.
- Knowledge of export regulations including ITAR/EAR.
- Demonstrated interest in international trade or international business.
- Strong research, writing, verbal communication, and project management skills.
- Understanding of end-to-end processes and attention to detailed design.
- Strong team and organizational skills, ability to self-manage time and tasks.
- Ability to work with ambiguity.
- Ability to manage client and cross-functional team expectations.
- Ability to bring 'out of the box' solution design that is aligned to leading practices and differentiated business outcomes.

Salary Information:
The wage range for this role considers a wide range of factors, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications. The disclosed range estimate is $77,070 to $175,500. It is noted that it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.

Additional Information:
You may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
