As an IDAG, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects within the legal divisions of the OAG, gaining valuable experience and skills.

Responsibilities:

- Participate in trainings led by practitioners in different legal sections including Litigation, Appeals, Consumer Protection, Advisory, Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, and Solicitor General.
- Work closely with designated Deputy Attorney General mentors to gain hands-on experience.
- Assist in motion preparation and conduct depositions under supervision.
- Draft legal briefs and conduct legal research.
- Represent the State in licensing hearings.

Qualifications:

- Must be a 3L at an accredited law school.
- Commit to taking the Indiana Bar Exam or the Uniform Bar Exam upon graduation.
- Minimum GPA preferred.
- Deadline to apply is 11/3/25.
- Interviews will be conducted in Nov/Dec 2025.
- Program duration is approximately 6-9 months, starting in August 2026.
- Must be admitted to practice law in Indiana to be considered for a Deputy Attorney General position.

Salary and Benefits:

- Salary increase upon passing the Bar Exam.
- Additional salary increase upon promotion to Deputy Attorney General position.
