Job Title: Tax Manager, Value Chain Alignment

Job Responsibilities:
The role of Tax Manager, Value Chain Alignment involves a strategic approach to integrating operational and tax planning, enabling businesses to make strategic decisions on an after-tax basis. Key responsibilities include:

- Developing an understanding of clients' operations, including building workplans and project plans.
- Engaging in high-level benefit modeling.
- Creating tailored presentations for various departments such as C-Suite, Tax Department, HR, and IT to convey information clearly and succinctly.
- Managing projects, including coordination across multiple service lines such as VAT, Customs, and other company member firms.

Education and Experience Information:
Required Qualifications:

- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model, requiring . Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work, with a focus on international taxation preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another business-related field.
- Previous experience with a Big 4 firm, public accounting, or consulting.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, depending on the work and clients served.
- One of the following active accreditations: Licensed CPA, Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, or foreign equivalents. Certain individuals may also be eligible for specific Tax Technology approved certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in strategic planning initiatives.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Strong research, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong executive presence.

Salary Information:
The wage range for the Tax Manager, Value Chain Alignment role considers various factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications. The estimated salary range is between $103,320 and $235,170. It is noted that it is not typical for individuals to be hired at or near the top of the range, as compensation decisions depend on the specifics of each case. Additionally, the role may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program, depending on individual and organizational performance.
